Commercial bakery is seeking a Full Time team-oriented candidate for the Bakery Assistant position. Candidate must be willing to work weekdays/nights, weekends and/or holidays. Essential Functions: Prepping sheet pans Prepping and cleaning proofing baskets Replenishing raw materials (flour, seeds, yeast, salt, etc.) Cleaning (dishes, work and storage surfaces, ingredient bins, oven deck and doors, floor) Packaging and picking breads for pick-up Maintaining organization of product in freezer Scaling out ingredients Retrieving/Delivering doughs and retarded loaves from/to refrigerator Coating rolls Labeling bins and storage containers Working knowledge of knives and other sharp objects. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Awareness of hot ovens. Responsibilities and duties as assigned by management.
