CSAT Solutions is currently seeking qualified candidates to fill the role of a Ball Grid Array Operator. This position will require the candidate to have some knowledge of computer components.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Previous experience soldering small electrical parts, intermediate skill preferred
• 1 year or more of assembly/disassembly experience preferred with laptops, computers and/or technology component repair, preferred
• Experience using hand power tools
• Intermediate knowledge of computer hardware
• Basic familiarity with computer use required
• Familiarity with continuous improvement methods preferred
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced team environment with close supervision
• Intermediate English abilities required
• Ability to follow documented procedures, standards and policies
• Excellent time-management skills

Nice To Haves

Responsibilities

• Reviews documentation on repair ticket
• Reviews incoming chip profile to determine details of problems
• Inspects and analyzes chip to assess next steps in repair process
• Removes or replaces BGA Chips from board
• Removes residue from chips with flux and cleans printed circuit boards (PCB)
• Runs basic tests to ensure proper repair has occurred
• Learns and uses new processes and procedures for the BGA repair line
• Completes repair ticket in computer system to document repair activity
• Responsible for meeting ISO 9001 and/or other quality system requirements in their department
• May perform other duties as assigned
