About The Position

The Kane County Cougars, a proud member of the American Association of Professional Baseball, are looking for a Ballpark Cleaning Crew Supervisor. The Ballpark Cleaning Crew Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and actively participating in the cleanliness and overall presentation of the stadium during games and events. This position leads the cleaning crew to ensure all areas of the facility—including seating areas, concourses, restrooms, offices, and public spaces—are maintained to the highest standards before, during, and after events. The Supervisor assigns and monitors staff responsibilities, ensures adequate coverage for all shifts, manages cleaning supplies and inventory, and upholds safety standards throughout the facility. This role requires strong leadership, attention to detail, time management, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment.

Responsibilities

• Supervises and participates in cleaning and maintaining all areas of the facility including seating bowl area, concourse, Outfield Decks, Upper Deck Suite Level, Press Box, restrooms, Box Office, parking lot, Music Garden and KidZone. Cleaning includes, sweeping, vacuuming and cleaning windows.
• Oversees the work assignments of all cleaning crew members and makes sure each job is covered before, during and after the games.
• Notifies Stadium Operations Manager of any staffing concerns or needs for future games and events.
• Ensures that the facility is swept and trash is picked up before, during and after games. Continuously checking and emptying trash and operating the trash compactor.
• Supervises and participates in cleaning Front Office, Atrium, Security & First Aid Offices including restrooms, trash, vacuuming, mopping of floors and atrium stairs.
• Participate in the organization’s commitment to safety by ensuring proper signage is on display in any wet areas, etc. Floors must be clear of any slip / trip hazards.
• Supervises and participates in the cleaning and stocking of all restrooms with necessary supplies (soap, toilet paper, paper towels). This is done pre-game, during and post-game.
• Ensures that cleaning products and supplies are safely stored and organized. Also, assists in keeping track of inventory for the product and supplies used by the cleaning crew and notifies Stadium Operations Manager when orders need to be placed to replenish stock.
• Other duties as assigned.
