Yellowstone Club’s Food & Beverage departments are currently seeking a Banquet Beverage Supervisor under the Food & Beverage department. Purpose: The purpose of the Banquet Beverage Supervisor is to oversee the wine, beer, and spirits program at Yellowstone Club for the Banquet Department, in-line with the goals set forth by the Beverage Director. Supervisory Responsibilities: Directly or indirectly supervises employees; carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the Club’s policies, procedures and applicable laws; responsibilities include but are not limited to: training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems. Maintaining positive member relationships, processing complaints, and responding to member needs. Responsible for assisting in all aspects of ordering, including but not limited to, selecting and purchasing quantities of goods and merchandise, monthly inventory of all beer, wine , and liquor. Maintaining pars on all beverages each week. Raise the current standard of all areas of beverage to a world class level, second to none. Assist bar program in menu development, service standards, and floor support as needed. Responsible to stay ahead of the curve on industry trends, products, and systems. Grow a beverage training program that incentivizes knowledge development. Create and maintain a beverage training compendium. Planning and execution of the beverage program pertaining to Member events. Understand and execute BEO’s to ensure proper inventories are in line with upcoming events and special order needs. Prepare alcohol and non-alcohol beverage for all banquet and catering events. Interact with Members and guests, taking orders and serving beverages. Assess Member and guest’s needs and preference and making beverage recommendations. Mix ingredients to prepare cocktails. Check Member and guest identification and confirm it meets legal drinking age. Comply with all food and beverage regulations.
