The Banquet Captain is someone who has the ability to organize, communicate, and lead the team through a successful event. They must be able to motivate staff and create a positive, cohesive team to deliver exceptional service. They must be able to maintain a complete working knowledge of hotel standards as well as departmental standards. The Banquet Captain must be knowledgeable of correct use and maintenance of all equipment. Cleanliness is the responsibility of all employees, including this role. Must maintain a full understanding of all banquet menus and beverages specified by the group(s). Must be flexible and possess the ability to quickly respond to any and all client needs. Must have the ability to focus and pay attention to all details of the event(s). Pay Rate: The rate of pay listed on job boards are auto-generated numbers.
