About The Position

New Albany Country Club is seeking polished, hospitality-driven Banquet Servers to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a premier private club known for exceptional service, elegant events, and a culture of excellence. As a Banquet Server, you will play a key role in delivering memorable experiences to our members and their guests during weddings, galas, corporate events, and private celebrations. We offer flexible scheduling within our seven-day-a-week operation, including evening, weekend, and holiday events. Position Overview Banquet Servers are responsible for executing events with professionalism, precision, and genuine hospitality. This role requires energy, attention to detail, and the ability to anticipate guest needs in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Requirements

Previous banquet, catering, or upscale restaurant experience preferred
Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
Professional demeanor with strong communication skills
Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 lbs
Strong attention to detail and commitment to service excellence
Team-oriented with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

Provide elevated food and beverage service in accordance with event standards
Execute plated, buffet, and reception-style service with accuracy and timing
Maintain a polished, professional presence at all times
Anticipate member and guest needs while delivering attentive, unobtrusive service
Communicate effectively with Captains, culinary team, and event leadership
Assist with event setup, breakdown, and room resets
Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the banquet spaces
Uphold all club service standards and appearance guidelines
