About The Position
Located just minutes away from all of the excitement of the glittering Las Vegas Strip and Las Vegas Convention Center, Tuscany Suites & Casino provides guests with a relaxing getaway perfect for business travelers, a long weekend with friends or your next family vacation. We are looking for a Part Time Banquet Bartender. ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Responsible for serving alcohol and non-alcoholic beverages to guests consistent with the hotel’s standards. Prepare alcohol or non-alcohol beverages for bar and restaurant patrons. Interact with customers, take orders and serve snacks and drinks. Assist customers’ needs and preferences and make recommendations. Making food and beverage recommendations to guests as appropriate. Mix ingredients to prepare cocktails. Plan and present bar menu. Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies. Take beginning and ending inventory of all bar items each shift Stay guest focused and nurture an excellent guest experience.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Prefer 1 year bartending experience in a restaurant or hotel venue.
- High level of standard drink recipes.
- Knowledge and education in mixology.
- Able to work flexible schedules including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Able to work in a standing position for long periods of time.
- Utilizes clear communication.
- Works as a team member.
- Demonstrates reliability, honesty and integrity.
- Able to effectively communicate in English in both oral and written form.
- Understanding of the POS system.
- Have current Health Card and TAM card.
- Comply with all health, safety and hygiene standards and policies.
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
