About The Position

The Bungalow Huntington Beach is looking for a strong floor leader to help run operations in one of Orange County’s most energetic nightlife venues. We’re looking for someone who thrives in fast-paced hospitality environments , can help lead a team during high-volume shifts, and knows how to deliver an unforgettable guest experience. This position is a great opportunity for experienced bartenders, servers, or shift leads ready to step into leadership.

Requirements

• 3+ years of bar, restaurant, or nightlife experience
• Previous leadership, shift lead, or supervisory experience preferred
• Ability to stay calm and organized during busy shifts
• Strong communication and leadership skills
• Passion for hospitality and nightlife
• Availability for weekends and late-night shifts
• California Food Handler Card (required within 30 days)
• ServSafe Manager Certification (required within 30 days)
• California Responsible Beverage Service (RBS) Certification (required within 60 days)

• Previous leadership, shift lead, or supervisory experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Lead the Floor
• Help oversee nightly bar operations and service flow
• Support the management team during high-volume shifts
• Keep staff organized and service running smoothly
• Create a Great Guest Experience
• Maintain a welcoming and high-energy atmosphere
• Assist with resolving guest issues quickly and professionally
• Support VIP tables and elevated guest service
• Support the Team
• Help coordinate staff and shift responsibilities
• Reinforce service standards and venue policies
• Assist with training and onboarding new team members
• Operational Support
• Assist with POS operations and cash handling
• Help maintain accurate menus and POS systems
• Report maintenance or operational issues
• Responsible Beverage Service
• Monitor alcohol service in accordance with California ABC regulations
• Follow Responsible Beverage Service (RBS) guidelines
