About The Position

We are seeking experienced bar back to join our team. Our bar backs typically have 1-2 years of bartending/barback experience at a fine dining restaurant. The bar back is responsible for general assistance of the bar staff, including glass-washing, batching, and restocking of beverage products. Other responsibilities include but are not limited to maintaining the cleanliness of the bar area, beer cooler and assisting guests as needed. Keep the bar stocked with liquor, syrups, glasses, napkins, and all other necessary items before and during service hours Prepare garnishes, refill ice wells, change beer kegs Clean up spills, organize the counter Handle emergency situations, such as cleaning up broken glasses and clearing up clogged drains

Requirements

• Must have at least 1 year experience working in a high volume and high-end environment
• Strong verbal communication skills
• Ability to adapt to a fast paced, high volume restaurant setting

Nice To Haves

• Experience using Micros a big plus
