About The Position
POSITION SUMMARY Position Summary: The lead barista plays a key role in daily coffee shop operations by setting the standard for service, beverage quality, and teamwork. This position supports management by leading shifts, training team members, and ensuring Coffee Corner standards are consistently met. Lead is also responsible for greeting guest, answering their questions, and making helpful suggestions regarding coffee and food choices. Crafts high-quality beverages following the company drink recipes and procedures. Understands the importance of the cleanliness of the coffee shop and following safety standards. Must be proficient on a computer and able to run a cash register and count change
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
- One year experience in fast food or coffee shop environment
- Must be proficient on a computer and able to run a cash register and count change
- Obtain SHRC Coffee Corner Certified Barista Trainer within 4 weeks of hire date
Nice To Haves
- Previous leadership experience preferred
- Previous Customer Service experience
- Previous barista or food service experience
