About The Position

As a Barista for Starbucks at ARIA, you will deliver thoughtful, efficient service within a contemporary café environment that complements the resort’s modern atmosphere. In this role, you will craft high-quality beverages with consistency and care while creating genuine connections with guests throughout each interaction. Your attention to detail, product knowledge, and commitment to service will help ensure smooth daily operations in a fast-paced setting. By understanding each guest’s preferences and needs, you will contribute to a positive, personalized experience that reflects both the Starbucks brand and ARIA’s commitment to exceptional hospitality.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Work varied shifts, to include weekends and holidays required
  • Must be 21 years of age or older
  • One year of experience as a food handler in a similar, high-volume, fast paced restaurant preferred
  • Previous experience as a Barista for Starbucks or a similar Cafe environment preferred

Responsibilities

  • Take and place order, and serve and garnish food and drinks efficiently and accurately in work area as applicable
  • Collect money, while following all proper cash handling and comp procedures
  • Maintain the cleanliness, sanitation, and the appearance of the front and back of house, clear tables and counters; sweep and maintain the cleanliness of the dining area without interfering with the comfort of guests
  • Pack and complete order as per guests' preference with any necessary condiments
  • Properly label and date products per safety and sanitation procedures
  • Perform opening and closing duties based upon shift assignment
  • Unload warehouse orders and stock the orders to designated storage maintaining organization, stock and replenish products as needed in workstation, counters, tables, etc.
  • Resolve guest complaints within scope of authority; otherwise, refer the matter to management, notify supervisor and/or Security of all unusual events, circumstances, missing items, or alleged theft
