About The Position

NoMo SoHo is boutique hotel, nestled in the heart of New York’s SoHo fashion, art, and shopping neighborhood. Known for offering a panoramic view of the Manhattan skyline, modern rooms, local art and a unique dining and beverage experience, NoMo SoHo seeks to deliver satisfaction to our guests. The NoMo Soho Hotel is looking for a high-energy, optimistic bartender to work part-time in our NoMo SoHo Kitchen. This unique restaurant offers a picturesque, greenhouse setting, and serves up a seasonal, expertly curated American menu with global influences. A very popular weekend brunch, a handcrafted cocktail program.

Requirements

One year of experience as a Bartender.
A Tips or ServSafe Alcohol Awareness training
Food handler certification.
Bartending License.

Responsibilities

Maintaining proper bar set-up, including requisitioning and stocking of beer, wine, spirits, and other supplies based on daily projections.
Maintaining stock, cutting, and storing of fresh fruit and vegetable garnishes, juices, and other perishables to ensure product quality.
Greeting guests in a courteous and friendly manner, promote and document orders for drinks, mix, garnish, and present drinks using standard recipes and portion control.
Acknowledging all State, Federal, and corporate requirements pertaining to serving alcoholic beverages.
Inputting orders into a register, create checks for each guest, and maintain accountability of all beverages served.
Receiving cash from guests, making change as needed, verify validity of charges, record charges, and execute vouchers to balance all money.
Complying with attendance rules and being available to work on a regular basis.
Perform any other job-related duties as assigned.
