About The Position

The Hub Saloon in Craig, MT is looking to hire a skilled, service-driven Bartender who can execute consistently, adapt to a rotating menu, and deliver an exceptional guest experience. In our small, high-standard environment, you’ll craft classic and creative cocktails with precision, pour beer and wine with confidence, and prepare beverages according to recipe and presentation standards. You’ll guide guests through menu features, make thoughtful recommendations, and accurately manage tabs and payments through our POS system—all while maintaining efficiency during busy service. As a Bartender at The Hub, you’ll create a welcoming, professional atmosphere where guests feel valued and well cared for. You’ll assess guest preferences, handle concerns with confidence, and uphold all alcohol service laws, including proper ID checks. Behind the bar, you’ll maintain a clean and organized workspace, manage inventory and restock supplies, and collaborate closely with servers and kitchen staff to ensure seamless service. About The Hub The Hub is a speakeasy-style restaurant/bar in Craig, MT, with a rotating, destination-inspired menu. The dining experience focuses on themed dinners inspired by fly-fishing destinations around the world. The space is intimate with limited reservations each night and operates seven days a week from 5pm–10pm.

Requirements

  • Willingness to share credit, work with others in a team environment, and define success collectively rather than individually
  • Ability to take the initiative, embrace change, and learn new things
  • Drive to be dependable, and to perform well against the expectations of the role.
  • Strong mixology knowledge and understanding of classic cocktail structure.
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, detail-oriented setting.
  • Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
  • Physical stamina for standing, lifting, and active shifts.
  • Valid Montana alcohol server certification required.
