About The Position

Position Overview: This position is responsible for the set up, maintenance and operation of the bar(s) and this may include working private events from time to time.

Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Must have a valid TEAM, TIP, or TITLE 4 certification card
  • Must have a valid County Food Handler Card on file with Craft Culinary Concepts and in your possession for each event worked
  • Must be discrete and keep all information and details of guests confidential
  • Must have a H.S Diploma or equivalent
  • Must complete all pre-employment forms, and successfully pass a background check
  • Must be able to work with a group as well as independently
  • Must have knowledge of beer, wine and spirits and be familiar with standard drink recipes and bar terminology
  • 2 years experience in high volume bartending environment or equivalent
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on a regular basis
  • Ability to bend, stoop, reach in confined spaces
  • Ability to be stationary for long periods of time up to four (4) hours in length
  • Ability to work non-traditional hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Ability to work in extreme temperature fluctuations and around excessive noise

Responsibilities

  • assisting in the set up of the bar
  • merchandising all liquor bottles in an attractive display
  • organizing supplies, and all necessary tools at the bartender station(s)
  • receiving drink orders from guests or wait staff
  • properly filling the orders
  • accurately ringing orders into the register system
  • creating an atmosphere that drives sales
  • maintaining cleanliness throughout the bar area for esthetics as well as exceed health department standards
  • clean up and organize your assigned bar area
  • breaking down the bartender station
  • cleaning of any utensils/tools that stay in the designated bar area
  • overall cleanliness of your work area
  • assist in the prep or replenishment of garnish items
  • ordering of additional items to ensure that an adequate supply of inventory is on hand to serve our guests
  • follow all State and Craft Culinary Concepts alcohol service rules, regulations, and policies
