About The Position

Freestone Lake and Golf is one of our new developments and we are growing! We are looking for bartenders responsible for providing an exceptional experience in a refined, upscale environment. This role requires social awareness, ability to provide lateral service, and a commitment to personalized guest interactions. This position will operate in a no tipping environment.

Requirements

• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Knowledge of applicable laws and regulations surrounding the bartending profession
• Knowledge of mixology for traditional cocktails
• 1-2 years of experience as a bartender in a high end establishment
• Understanding of unique and complementary flavor pairings
• Impeccable customer service and social perceptiveness
• Ability to evaluate customer satisfaction and be responsive
• Ability to enforce company policies regarding the consumption of alcohol
• Accountability in maintaining inventory and processing payments
• Ability to stand or walk for long periods of time
• Ability to work all shifts when required during the day, nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Walking, prolonged standing, some light lifting up to 25 lbs.
• Indoor and outdoor conditions.

Responsibilities

• Promotes and upholds the Freestone Lake and Golf Club brand and values
• Verify customer ages
• Mix traditional cocktails
• Process payments
• Clean glasses and bar utensils
• Make suggestions based upon customer tastes and preferences
• Record and balance cash receipts and prepare cash deposits
• Open and maintain tabs throughout their shift
• Build a rapport with regular customers to create a positive and exciting atmosphere
