About The Position
Our mission is to provide clean, green, safe, and accessible open spaces. We aim to improve the quality of life for individuals, families, and communities. We are committed to advancing access, equity, and excellence in public open spaces throughout the city. The Boston Parks and Recreation Department offers free programs in various neighborhood parks across the City of Boston. Serves several demographics, including at-risk populations and children whose families cannot afford summer camps or extracurricular activities. Programs include sports, arts and crafts, movies, concerts, and more.
Requirements
- Basic knowledge of the sports of baseball and softball
- Must be able to physically move, assemble, and use equipment needed at events and games
- Ability to work on weekdays as well as weekends
