Coordinates, procures, implements and/or provides technical support for new equipment installation and investment projects (new model, structure, and plant small projects). Supports contractor activities in engineering, installation, commissioning, documentation, and sign-off of new equipment projects. Supports quality checks and prepares quality documentation Supports with maintaining project cost targets and budget forecasts. Collaborates with medium/large projects and/or self-initiates projects for continuous improvement relating to structure and/or process. Supports battery plant targets and goals: production, quality, safety, cost, associate, and citizenship. Obtains and shares best practice solutions within the BMW Group network.

Requirements

  • Organizational & project management skills
  • Communication & facilitation skills
  • Strength in analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Technical background (e.g. mechanical or electrical engineering) preferable
  • MS Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc).
  • Possess a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 (not just in major)
  • Have enrolled student status at an accredited four-year college or university in the United States.
  • Completed at least 30 credit hours at time of application.
  • Ability to work full-time on-site (40 hours / week).
  • Transfer students must have a GPA from current university.
  • MUST ATTACH A COPY OF UNOFFICIAL TRANSCRIPT
  • Complete and pass a substance abuse test before the work term.

  • Technical background (e.g. mechanical or electrical engineering) preferable
