Put your toes in the sand and soak in the sun on 200 feet of private beachfront. As was the norm in the early iterations of Florida hotels, Beachcomber's rooms all open up to a lush courtyard featuring tropical gardens, pools and endless spots to relax in the shade. No matter where you are, at the Beachcomber, you're always just steps from the beach and within earshot of live music emanating from our legendary beach bar, Jimmy B's! What you will have an opportunity to do: Maintain reliable attendance and follow company policies Provide friendly, professional service to guests and assist with cabana rentals Set up and break down beach chairs and umbrellas daily Keep the cabana and beach areas clean, organized, and guest-ready Inspect, clean, and perform basic preventive maintenance on equipment Respond promptly to guest requests and coordinate with Front Desk/management Follow all safety procedures and use required protective equipment Maintain a neat, professional appearance and adhere to uniform standards Carry a radio if assigned and support team operations as needed Perform other duties as assigned Please note: Candidates must complete the required assessment sent after submitting their application in order to be considered for this position. What are we looking for? Someone with a experience in a guest service role Someone with an engaging and energetic personality Food Handler and Responsible Alcohol Service Certifications. Valid driver's license. Strong communication skills. Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays. Capable of lifting and transporting items weighing up to 70 pounds.
