About The Position

The Beach Club General Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the Beach Club operations, including guest services, cabana rentals, beach attendants, and food and beverage service. This role ensures that guests have a safe, enjoyable, and memorable experience while maintaining service quality and operational efficiency.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of management experience in a luxury resort, beach club, or poolside setting.
  • Strong leadership and customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction.
  • Knowledge of beach safety protocols and service standards.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to stand, walk, and move around beach and pool areas for extended periods.
  • Occasionally lift and carry items up to 20-30 pounds, such as beach equipment or supplies.
  • Frequent bending, reaching, and twisting to manage beach setups and service logistics.
  • Manual dexterity to handle beach equipment, towels, and service tools.
  • Good vision to monitor beach areas and ensure safety; good hearing to communicate effectively with guests and team members.
  • Ability to speak clearly and effectively to convey information to guests, team members, and other departments.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management or a related field is preferred.
  • Lifeguard certification is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the daily operations of the Beach Club, ensuring a welcoming and luxurious experience for all guests.
  • Assist The Director of Food & Beverage and Director of Outlets in the development and implementation of service policies and procedures.
  • Supervise, train, and motivate staff, providing feedback and support to maintain a high level of team performance.
  • Manage the scheduling, training, and performance of beach attendants, servers, and other staff.
  • Monitor beach and pool areas to ensure safety, cleanliness, and compliance with all health and safety regulations.
  • Coordinate food and beverage service with restaurant teams to maintain prompt and quality service.
  • Supervise cabana rentals, towel service, and beach amenities to ensure seamless operations.
  • Handle guest concerns and requests promptly to provide a positive experience.
  • Assist in managing inventory, including beach equipment, cabana supplies, and food and beverage items.
  • Work closely with the events team to facilitate beachside events and activities.
  • Ensure compliance with all resort policies, procedures, and service standards.
  • Perform other reasonable duties as required by management.
