About The Position
This position is designed as an entry level role. Under the close supervision by a Clinical Supervisor, BCBA, the BT will implement behavioral reduction or treatment plans for individuals with behavioral-based developmental disorders.
Requirements
- High School Diploma
- Some understanding of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA)
- Ability: to obtain Registered Behavior Technician certification within 45 days of hire.
Responsibilities
- Working under the supervision of a Clinical Supervisor, BCBA, implements treatment plans meant to reduce problematic behavior or improve daily living skills.
- Collects and analyzes behavioral data using Central Reach software.
- Maintains client confidentiality and client dignity.
- Provides updates to parents or other caretakers regarding client progress or ongoing treatments, as instructed by the Clinical Supervisor.
- Ensures that all treatments provided follow established behavior reduction and behavior skills protocols.
- Ability to work individually and as part of a team.
- Detailed oriented and proficient oral and written communication skills.
