What You'll Do As a Behavior Technician or Registered Behavior Technician, you will provide individualized Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy in a structured, center-based setting. You will work under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to support children in areas such as communication, social interaction, play, and daily living skills.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent (required)
- RBT certification ( highly preferred , but not required-training provided)
- Previous experience in ABA therapy, education, psychology, child development, or related fields is a plus
Responsibilities
- Delivering direct 1:1 ABA therapy to children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD)
- Implementing treatment plans developed by a BCBA
- Accurately collecting and recording data on client progress during each session
- Assisting with the development of age-appropriate skills
- Collaborating with a clinical team to review outcomes and adjust strategies
- Creating a positive, engaging, and safe environment for learning and growth
