About The Position

We are seeking a Behavior Technician to join our team in our Grand Rapids, MI location. Must be available Monday, Thursday, Friday from 8:45-4:15p and Tuesday, Wednesday from 10:45-6:15p. If you are a Paraprofessional, Registered Behavior Technician, Behavior Health Technician, or a Personal Care Aide, this is the opportunity for you! No experience required - we provide PAID RBT training and have opportunities for clinical supervision towards licensure (BCBA). At Merakey, you can make a change in the life of a child. Using evidence-based treatments (such as Applied Behavior Analysis – ABA) to provide 1:1 direct service in family homes, schools, and community settings. Complete timely ongoing data collection, including parent/staff correspondence and all required documentation. Requirements

  • Minimum of a high school degree is required
  • Associate or bachelor’s degree highly preferred
  • Current RBT certification OR ability to complete 30 hours of competency-based training within 1 week of employment
  • Availability to work 2+ evenings until 6pm required

Nice To Haves

  • 6 months of experience working with persons with developmental disabilities preferred
  • Experience working with children with autism is preferred
