About The Position

InBloom Autism Services is hosting an IN-PERSON Hiring Event to hire new or experienced Behavior Therapists (BTs)/Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) to join team. Whether you're just starting your career in ABA Therapy or you're already an experienced RBT, we'd love to meet you! Starting at $20/hour ($15.00 during training) with weekly Friday paychecks, generous PTO (including Birthday PTO), and six paid holidays, we invest in your success from day one. Direct Client Care: Provide one-on-one therapy to clients in various settings including our Centers, homes and/or schools. Implement Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs): Follow the behavior intervention plans designed by BCBAs to address specific behavioral goals and objectives for each client. Data Collection: Accurately collect and record data on client behaviors and responses during therapy sessions, ensuring data integrity and consistency. Progress Monitoring : Collaborate with the supervising BCBAs to track and report client progress towards behavioral goals and adjust intervention plans as needed. Behavior Reduction Techniques: Utilize approved behavior reduction techniques and strategies as outlined in the behavior intervention plan to address challenging behaviors. Skill Acquisition: Assist clients in acquiring and developing functional skills, communication abilities, and appropriate social behaviors. Parent/Caregiver Training: Provide training and support to parents/caregivers on implementing behavior intervention techniques and strategies in the home environment. Professionalism: Adhere to ethical guidelines and professional standards in behavior analysis while maintaining client confidentiality. Documentation: Complete required paperwork, progress reports, and session notes. Communication: Maintain open communication with the BCBAs, parents/caregivers, and other team members involved in the client's treatment.

Requirements

  • Passion for working with children and helping others.
  • High School Diploma or GED is required.
  • Must meet all BACB eligibility requirements to obtain RBT certification.
  • Ability to pass the RBT certification exam within the training period .
  • Must obtain and maintain RBT certification through the BACB.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent time management and interpersonal skills.
  • Physical capacity to move quickly and respond to potentially aggressive behavior and de-escalate situations with clients.
  • Prolonged periods of standing, walking, kneeling, bending, squatting, running and/or sitting in order to interact with clients.
  • Must be able to move and lift up to 50 pounds to assist with client positioning or mobility.
  • Adequate vision and hearing are required to ensure safety while working with clients.
  • Requires strong visual acuity, good peripheral vision, and sufficient depth perception to maintain client safety and prevent harm.
  • Eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity to operate office equipment and other necessary tools.
