About The Position

This BMH Therapy Lead will provide leadership and supervision to a team of Associate BMH Therapists through the Advancing the Delivery of Evidence-Based Psychotherapy for Youth (ADEPT) initiative. The role will involve recruiting and managing Associate BMH Therapists, developing appropriate teaching and competencies for them, assigning and coaching clinical supervisors, and leading group supervision. Responsibilities may also include coordination of interns. The Behavioral and Mental Health Team Lead will provide leadership and supervision to Behavioral Mental Health Therapists, including oversight and coordination of services in a model of care centered around integrated, multidisciplinary services, with seamless collaborations with psychiatry, psychology, social work, medical specialties, and other behavioral and mental health disciplines.

Requirements

  • 3 years of mental health licensed experience with providing intake evaluations and regularly scheduled therapy services for children and adolescents within a medical setting or behavioral mental health facility
  • 2 years of experience providing individual and group clinical supervision
  • Master’s degree in social work, mental health counseling, or marriage and family therapy from an accredited university
  • An unrestricted license in the state of Georgia (LCSW, LMFT, LPC)
  • Completion of necessary requirements, based on licensure, in order to provide clinical supervision to Master’s level interns and associate clinicians
  • BLS or PALS certification.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with patients, teammate, and leadership
  • Knowledge of evidence-based age-appropriate treatment and practice
  • Ability to work as part of interdisciplinary team
  • Ability to remain calm and manage verbal/physical responses in stressful situations
  • Flexibility to adapt to changes in behavioral mental programs and procedures
  • Developed cultural humility and ability to work with diverse populations
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Developed skills in coordination, delegation, and team collaboration

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Unified protocol, CBT, ACT, DBT, TF-CBT, PCIT, and/or Solution-Focused Therapy
  • Experience with children & adolescents with co-occurring medical issues
  • Leadership experience
