About The Position

Our mission is to inspire and empower people to seek and maintain recovery and health. Daymark Recovery Services, Inc. is a mission driven, comprehensive community provider of culturally sensitive mental health and substance abuse services. FBC is a 24-hour Residential Service, open 365 days a year. Responsible for providing support and care to meet the physical and psychological needs of consumers through providing direct and indirect care.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or G.E.D. equivalent required with a minimum of 1-year experience with the population served and/or crisis experience.
• Must be at least 18 years of age and proficient in reading, speaking, and writing.
• Strong interpersonal skills and belief in consumer’s ability to recover.
• Minimal supervision regarding use of time, able to prioritize work assignments.
• Ability to communicate effectively with professionals and clients/families.
• Ability to make sound decisions in emergency situations.
• A desire to work with individuals with severe mental illness and substance abuse issues.

Nice To Haves

• AA degree or a BS/ BA degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides supervision and monitoring of each consumer.
• Assist with and model appropriate daily living skills.
• Document any reported or observed symptoms of consumers and report to the team.
• Participate in Shift Report
• Provide transportation
• All other duties as assigned by supervisor
