Part Time Behavioral Health Technician of ABA (BHT-ABA)

About The Position

As a Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) with Hummingbird ABA Therapy, you will provide 1:1 behavioral interventions to children and adolescents between the ages of 2-21 years old who are diagnosed with a qualifying diagnosis. The goal of the BHT is to improve independence to levels which require less or no service intervention. The BHT will attempt to transfer skills to the child / adolescent and parents. This position is for a part time BHT role, which requires a minimum of 12 hours of availability between the hours of Mon-Fri 8:00-5:00. Client sessions vary in length and location within Centre County and we have multiple openings based on client needs for part time BHT positions.

Requirements

Must have clean PA Criminal, PA Child Abuse and FBI Clearances
Must have a minimum of high school diploma or GED

Nice To Haves

Applicants with a certificate from a valid 40 hour RBT Training Course or with certification as an RBT, BCaBA, BCAT, or IBT preferred.

Communicates with peers and co-workers and exchanges information which is important in achieving the individual goals for the clients.
Setting and adhering to professional boundaries with all clients and families.
Provides culturally aware and competent service provision.
Completes initial training curriculum as per company requirements and guidelines and state regulatory standards.
