About The Position
Arkview Behavioral Health provides compassionate, evidence-based care for individuals facing mental health and substance use challenges. We use a trauma-informed, whole-person approach, combining clinical therapies (CBT, DBT) with holistic supports like art therapy and family involvement to promote long-lasting recovery. We are seeking a dependable and empathetic Behavioral Health Technician to provide direct care and support to clients in residential and outpatient programs. You will maintain a safe environment, assist with daily routines, facilitate participation in therapeutic programming, and collaborate with clinical teams to implement individualized care plans.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent (associate/bachelor’s preferred)
- Experience in behavioral health, mental health, or substance use treatment preferred
- CPR/First Aid required (or willing to obtain)
- Strong communication, observation, and de-escalation skills
- Commitment to trauma-informed care, patient safety, and recovery-oriented practices
