Summary This position is located at Baldwin PM Pediatric Care is seeking a LMSW or LCSW to join our Behavioral Health Program. This opportunity will provide comprehensive behavioral health for the common conditions seen in primary care such as depression, anxiety, ADD, and conduct disorders. Description Perform psychosocial assessments that comply with evidence based practices Providing counseling and therapy for patients using evidence based treatment modalities Display competency as an individual, family, and group therapist Maintain own professional development as required by licensing board Complete required documentation and paperwork, including biopsychosocial assessments and treatment planning and implementation in a timely manner Works closely with patient and family and team to overcome obstacles in treatment Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures Demonstrates cultural competency and commitment Respond quickly to an urgent or emergent need Maintain a caseload of 15-20 patients weekly and a minimum of 5 patients daily Master’s Degree in Social Work is required LMSW or LCSW (NY) required MUST have experience with pediatric and adolescent patients Qualifications Knowledge of medical terminology Exceptional interpersonal skills Deep understanding of the psychosocial aspects of illness and health Strong verbal and written communication skills Excellent short-term counseling skills EEO Statement PM Pediatric Care is an equal employment opportunity employer.
