About The Position

As a Bell Starter, you will set the stage for guest experience with your welcoming smile and service. By understanding their unique stories and needs, you will own their experience to create WOW memories they will carry with them far and beyond their stay with us.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma, GED or equivalent
  • 1+ years of prior relevant experience
  • Experience in Front Desk Services or Hotel Dispatch at a major hotel
  • Work varied shifts, to include weekends and holidays
  • Bilingual language skills

Responsibilities

  • Dispatch Bell Persons as appropriate to meet guest’s orders and requests
  • Keep an accurate record of bell desk activities
  • Provide a full array of guest information services, such as special orders for flowers and balloons, wedding information, newspapers, car rentals, hotel tours, business center operations, arena events center, etc.
  • Serve as Bell Starter by designating Bell Persons to assist arriving and departing guests with their luggage requirements
  • Receive phone calls by registered guests requesting information, services and deliveries
  • Ensure all checked luggage is properly stored and tagged and claim checks are issued to appropriate guests
  • Resolve guest concerns and problems
  • Perform other job-related duties as requested
