The Bar Harbor Inn and Spa in Bar Harbor, Maine is seeking dependable and service-oriented Bellhops to join our team for the season. As a Bellhop, you’ll play a vital role in creating a warm first impression and ensuring guests have a smooth, enjoyable stay. From assisting with luggage and guest transportation to maintaining welcoming public spaces, this role is perfect for someone who enjoys being on the move, working outdoors, and delivering exceptional hospitality. Requirements

Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
Valid driver’s license and ability to safely operate passenger vehicles
Strong customer service and communication skills
Ability to read maps and follow directions
Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions
Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays
Professional appearance and positive attitude
Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Responsibilities

Greet arriving guests and escort them to their rooms
Receive, tag, transport, and deliver guest luggage and packages
Load and unload luggage from vehicles and baggage carts
Park and retrieve guest vehicles safely and efficiently
Operate hotel passenger vans (up to 12 passengers) in compliance with traffic laws
Assist guests entering and exiting vehicles and with their belongings
Maintain clean and welcoming lobby and entrance areas
Set up and stock the lobby fireplace area, coffee room, and guest activity stations
Deliver special guest requests to rooms promptly
Provide guests with information about the hotel, local attractions, restaurants, and points of interest
Communicate effectively with front desk staff and concierges regarding guest needs
Keep parking areas clean, organized, and orderly
Clean and maintain vehicle interiors and exteriors
Perform routine vehicle checks and report maintenance needs or incidents
Record vehicle routes and follow written and verbal directions
