MyTana is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Electronics Repair Technician to join our team in the video inspection industry. The ideal candidate has a strong background in electronics repair and enjoys hands-on troubleshooting of video inspection equipment. This role requires expertise in soldering, diagnostics, and working with video systems to ensure our products perform at the highest standards.

Requirements

  • Proficiency in soldering and desoldering techniques
  • Strong understanding of electronics, including components, circuitry, and troubleshooting methods
  • Experience working with video systems (cameras, monitors, signal processing)
  • Ability to read and interpret technical schematics and diagrams
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple repairs at once
  • Clear communication skills for collaboration and documentation

Nice To Haves

  • Associate degree or certification in electronics, electrical engineering, or a related field
  • 2+ years of electronics repair experience (video inspection or similar industry preferred)
  • Familiarity with diagnostic tools such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, and signal generators

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and repair video inspection equipment, including cameras, monitors, and related electronic components
  • Perform soldering and desoldering on circuit boards and electronic assemblies
  • Test and calibrate repaired equipment to ensure optimal functionality and performance
  • Troubleshoot technical issues related to video systems, signal processing, and display quality
  • Maintain accurate repair documentation, including parts used, time spent, and solutions applied
  • Partner with engineering and production teams to identify recurring issues and recommend improvements
  • Stay current on industry trends and advancements in video inspection technology
  • Ensure all repairs meet quality standards and comply with safety regulations
