About The Position

The Benefits Analyst is responsible for operations of a subset of high impact HR benefit programs. This includes: project management, alignment with key stakeholders, vendor relationship management, HR systems and information integrity, analytics related to current programs, modelling of potential future programs, compliance & regulation, and plan documentation.

Requirements

  • 2-5 years of Human Resources experience
  • 1 year vendor management experience
  • Bachelors degree required, preferably in Human Resources
  • Advanced problem solving and decision making skills
  • Results oriented
  • Process and system knowledge
  • Detailed and thorough written and oral communication skills
  • Collaboration and influence
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Continues to advance Amcor business knowledge inside and outside of HR
  • Supports consistency and applies a continuous improvement framework to plan implementation and administration

Nice To Haves

  • Program administration experience in large scale manufacturing environment preferred
  • Experience with diverse, multi-location company with various employee classifications preferred
  • Project management experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Maintains deep knowledge of assigned benefit programs & working knowledge of other programs
  • Serves as project manager on plan implementations/changes & other Total Rewards initiatives as needed
  • Leverages analytics on current benefit programs to drive change
  • Oversees vendor relationships
  • Maintains, tests and troubleshoots HR systems to ensure benefit plan & employee data accuracy
  • Ensures flawless execution on all compliance and regulatory activities for assigned HR programs
  • Monitors emerging industry trends and brings forth for consideration
  • Provides support to HR Service Center and Benefit Administrators on escalated issues of complex nature
  • Drafts employee and key stakeholder communications
  • Prepares modelling of potential future programs or changes to existing programs
  • Ensures vendor complies with service level agreements and other expectations
  • Educates HR Service Center on standard plan provisions and recent changes to benefit programs
  • Researches process efficiencies and brings forth new functionality
  • Partners with Finance to ensure plan funding and/or allocation of plan costs
  • Assists with benefit plan renewals
  • Manages plan audits
  • Oversees day to day operations of assigned benefit programs
  • Updates and distributes plan documentation as necessary
  • Responsible for project implementation and success measures
