Requirements

Prior experience with benefits administration in a multi-site company, preferred
Prior experience processing medical enrollments and changes, preferred
Knowledge of using employee self-service portals, preferred
Self-starter, creative problem-solving skills and learning ability
Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills with both internal and external customers, representatives, and government agencies
Computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word, with the ability to learn additional systems used by our benefits division
Ability to manage multiple tasks throughout the day, excellent time management skills
Schedule: Monday- Friday, 5 hours per day (10 AM- 3 PM preferred)

Responsibilities

Processing enrollments, changes, terminations of benefits utilizing HRIS system; Review and resolve error reports from vendors
Participate in the annual open enrollment process
Complete verification requests for HIPP, child support, etc.
Creation and maintenance of benefit files
Utilize HRIS System to run benefit reports
Participate in preparation of coworker communications mailings
