About The Position

- The Benefits & Wellness Specialist at LIFESTREAM BEHAVIORAL CENTER is responsible for developing, implementing, and managing comprehensive employee benefits and wellness programs. This role aims to enhance employee satisfaction, retention, and overall well-being by ensuring that the organization's benefits offerings are competitive and aligned with industry standards.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required. Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in employee benefits administration and wellness program management.
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing successful wellness initiatives.
  • Strong understanding of employee benefits, including health insurance, retirement plans, and wellness programs.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively liaise with employees and management.
  • Ability to analyze data and metrics to assess the effectiveness of wellness programs.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and HR software systems.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working in a behavioral health or healthcare setting preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Design and administer employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other voluntary benefits.
  • Conduct regular assessments of the organization's benefits offerings to ensure competitiveness and alignment with employee needs.
  • Collaborate with external vendors and brokers to negotiate and manage benefits contracts and agreements.
  • Develop and implement wellness initiatives that promote physical, mental, and emotional health among employees.
  • Provide education and support to employees regarding benefits options, enrollment processes, and wellness programs.
  • Monitor and analyze trends in employee benefits and wellness to recommend enhancements and improvements.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations related to employee benefits and wellness programs.
  • Prepare and manage the benefits and wellness budget, ensuring cost-effectiveness and efficiency.
  • Serve as a point of contact for employees with questions or concerns about their benefits and wellness options.
  • Coordinate and facilitate workshops, seminars, and other events to promote employee engagement in wellness programs.
