About The Position

Serve food and beverages to guests in a timely, efficient manner. Perform responsibilities in accordance with all Company standards, policies, and procedures.

Requirements

  • Must manage time effectively with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with Guests, Team Members and Management in both written and verbal form.
  • Ability to demonstrate sound judgment and mature decision-making.
  • Must have the ability to obtain a Gaming Work Card.
  • Adhere to all Company and department policies and procedures.
  • Must be able to handle a flexible schedule.
  • Follow proper transaction settlement procedures.
  • Have complete knowledge of all cocktails, wines and beers served by Graton Resort & Casino, as well as proper glassware, pricing and garnishes.
  • Must be able to lift up to 20 pounds of product.
  • Requires manual dexterity to operate job related equipment.
  • Requires to ability to hear.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for practicing, supporting, and promoting Graton Resort & Casino's culture and demonstrating Service Standards at all times.
  • Inform immediate supervisor of any product shortages and equipment needs.
  • Serve alcohol responsibly in accordance with alcohol awareness training.
  • Behave in a positive, professional manner that reflects Company practices.
  • Practice and observe safety rules and regulations and encourage others to do so. Comply with Board of Health Standards.
  • Maintain high personal grooming and uniform standards pursuant to Graton Resort & Casino's policies.
  • Know where the MSDS booklet is located for your area.
  • Display knowledge of all emergency procedures.
  • Inform manager on duty of any Team Member or Guest opportunities.
  • Be familiar with cocktails and prices in order to fill any request for service.
  • Complete assigned side‐work and any additional task with high degree of teamwork.
  • Continuously observe and anticipate guests' needs in order to fill any and all guest opportunities.
  • Maintain a clean and well‐stocked service station including but not limited to all glassware, condiments, coffee and dry goods.
  • Comply with all cash and credit charging procedures. Know all cocktail and beverage pricing.
  • Must retrieve glassware, including but not limited to beverage glasses and bottles from Casino and other assigned areas.
