We also offer Licensure reimbursement and specialty trainings within the Mobile Crisis Intervention Services (MCIS) program and model. The Bilingual Crisis Clinician provides crisis assessment, intervention and stabilization clinical and case management services for children birth through age 17. The clinician will respond out in the community to provide crisis intervention services and safety planning. May work with emergency departments, inpatient units and congregate care providers to identify and coordinate crisis and diversionary planning for high needs youth in need of intensive community-based planning to prevent multiple admissions to such settings and otherwise promote the use of MCIS to coordinate intensive plans for high needs youth. SALARY Starting salary: $65,000 Bilingual Stipend $4,576 Eligible for a $5k sign on bonus! Half paid upon hire and half after one year. LOCATION Hartford, CT SCHEDULE Full-time 40 hours a week- two afternoon/evening shifts per week required 2-10pm and 11-7pm- No on call or weekend services. Possibility for hybrid work. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS Doctoral degree in Psychology or Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Social Work, or Counseling. Candidate must be able to speak fluently in both English and Spanish. Licensure Requirements for Clinical Positions Must be licensed or license eligible LPCA, LMFTA, LPC, LMFT or Psychologist. If you are a MSW, a LMSW (permit or license) or LCSW will be required to begin employment. Valid Drivers License is required.
