About The Position

We are seeking a dedicated Billing Analyst to join our team. This role involves supporting the billing systems and processes while ensuring accurate and timely billing adjustments. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of accounting procedures and excellent analytical skills.

Requirements

Proficiency in bank reconciliation, credit card transactions, and expense allocations.
Strong skills in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
1-2 years of relevant work experience.
Understanding of accounting procedures, concepts, and internal control processes.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Self-starter capable of working with minimal supervision.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

Provide input into the ongoing development and support of billing systems, processes, and policies.
Reconcile orders for gas to match bills of lading and match invoice sets to stores.
Reconcile amounts billed to stores with amounts paid by stores.
Resolve and track billing issues as they arise, working with fuel and accounting support teams to address root cause problems.
Process billing adjustments timely and accurately for fuel accounts, ensuring proper levels of authorization and documentation are in place.
Conduct invoicing review and variance analysis with required sign-off.
