Requirements

  • High School Diploma with 2+ years of accounting/billing experience.
  • A general knowledge of billing and collection practices, as well as business office procedures, is necessary.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Applications, MS Word, Excel, Power Point, Access, etc.
  • Demonstration of high integrity and work under minimal supervision.
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills, multi-tasker, and ability to prioritize.
  • Meet deadlines and work under periodic pressure time constraints.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration preferred.
  • Experience with BST, Deltek Vantagepoint, COUPA, Vendor Cafe, any accounting system is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Set up, monitor, and invoice projects for multiple project managers and offices.
  • Maintain accurate invoice records and supporting documentation.
  • Communicate with clients, legal staff, and others to coordinate revisions, adjustments, and questions.
  • Prepare special and project setup documents by reviewing contracts and billing terms for compliance.
  • Ensure accurate entry of invoice supporting charges (mileage logs, units, consultants).
  • Coordinate with the billing manager and AR department to meet standards, procedures, deadlines, and resolve invoice-related collection issues.
