About The Position

We are seeking a detail-oriented Billing Operations Data Specialist to join our team. In this pivotal role, you will manage billing and data entry to ensure accuracy, and timely invoicing that supports our drayage and warehousing operations. This role requires strong attention to detail.

Requirements

• Experience with Profit Tools or similar TMS preferred
• Effective communication skills with professional phone etiquette and customer service experience
• Knowledge of harbor drayage and/or harbor terminal and rail yard processes
• Excellent attention to detail
• Proficiency in data entry with high accuracy

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive accurate data entry of delivery orders using accounting software such as Profit Tools.
• Daily tracking of cargo containers with the ports of LA/LB and rail yards
• Managing timely updates and container releases in the Profit Tools TMS
• Verify booking numbers and equipment requirements with appropriate Steamship Lines for export shipments
• Daily billing for Drayage and warehouse operations in the Profit Tools TMS within 48 hours of delivery or transload cycle
• Work closely with Accounts Receivable to assist with any billing issues or discrepancies
