Requirements

  • Minimum of high school education or GED or combination of related experience.
  • Experience is preferred, but not necessary.
  • Reasonable expectations of mathematical, technical, and reasoning skills to perform essential job responsibilities.
  • According to Title 22 requirements, must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos, so as not to jeopardize the safety and well-being of the residents.
  • Ability to communicate with residents, and effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
  • Remain professional and respectful, and interact with our customers including residents, family members, and all staff members according to the concepts identified by the Carlton Way.
  • Must be able to use technology, such as company-provided phones and tablets, to communicate among staff on resident needs.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and support the monthly billing process in Yardi (Voyager 8/Elevate, Voyager 7S, and RentCafe) across all communities to ensure accuracy and consistency.
  • Assist Executive Director and Administrative Assistants with month-end billing, including posting charges, reviewing statements, and verifying accuracy prior to distribution.
  • Help correct billing errors and re-create resident statements when necessary.
  • Provide guidance to communities on resident account setup, charge configuration, and billing best practices.
  • Support communities with past-due accounts receivable follow-up and promote timely collections processes.
  • Maintain working knowledge of long-term care insurance billing requirements and documentation standards.
  • Train Administrative Assistants on completion of monthly long-term care insurance forms and required documentation.
  • Identify recurring billing challenges and recommend process improvements to reduce errors and increase efficiency.
  • Provide daily support and troubleshooting for Yardi Elevate (Voyager 8), Voyager 7S, SeniorIQ, and Yardi One platforms as needed.
  • With a calm and supportive demeanor, assist community managers, executive directors, and administrative assistants with navigating and maximizing Yardi functionality, particularly related to billing and resident accounts.
  • Build a strong working relationship to successfully serve as the primary liaison with the Yardi support team; submit, manage, and follow up on helpdesk tickets, tracking progress through resolution.
  • Perform Yardi administrator tasks as assigned by the VP of Data & Analytics.
  • Dress appropriately per the Companys standards outlined in the Employee Handbook.
  • Attend periodic staff meetings, in-service training, and mandatory meetings as required.
  • Observe Residents Rights, as posted within the facility, to include any updates thereto.
  • Mandated reporting if you suspect any verbal, physical, emotional, financial, or neglectful treatment toward a resident or staff member, report it to your supervisor immediately.
  • In Emergencies, assist residents according to the Emergency Plan of the facility.
