About The Position

Job Summary: Under general supervision, the Biomedical Equipment Technician installs, test, repairs, maintains, and calibrates clinical medical devices. Follows established policies and procedures and according to manufacturer guidelines and recommendations. The Biomedical Equipment Technician ensures adherence to hospital and departmental policies and regulatory standards and guidelines. Demonstrates commitment to the quality, philosophy, and values of Baptist Health Louisville by maintaining established policies and procedures, organizational objectives, process improvement, and safety standards. Demonstrates the Baptist Health Louisville standards in all interpersonal relations. Requirements

• Eight years of biomedical experience require

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Associate of Applied Science Degree in Electronic Engineering preferred
