About The Position

At STERIS, we help our Customers create a healthier and safer world by delivering innovative healthcare and life science products and services worldwide. A day in this role You start your day from home, schedule in hand, heading to a hospital where clinical teams rely on you to keep critical equipment running. You diagnose issues, perform repairs on STERIS and competitor systems, complete preventive maintenance, and document everything through mobile tools to meet regulatory and compliance requirements. When a tricky problem arises, you loop in Tech Support and Engineering, escalate appropriately, and collaborate until the issue is resolved. You brief the Customer on findings, outline repair options and pricing, and coordinate next steps. Between visits, you plan your route, balance PMs with urgent calls, and support additional locations across your territory as needs shift. Some days begin early, others run late, and occasional overnights ensure essential equipment stays operational. Where you work This is a remote, Customer-facing position primarily inside hospitals. To serve Customers in the assigned territory, you must be based in Arizona. What you’ll do Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain STERIS and competitor equipment, systems, and components. Own your schedule to meet Customer and business priorities: PMs, service and warranty calls, installations, field upgrades, and more. Partner with Tech Support, Engineering, and Service Contract Management; use advanced technology platforms to meet compliance requirements and document resolutions. Present findings, pricing, and repair options to Customers; with management support, collaborate with Sales to enhance Customer experience and uncover opportunities. Provide support across multiple sites within the territory based on service agreements and demand.
