Full time 40 hours/week | Wed - Sat variable hours Monitors the functionality of multi-vendor networked connected BAS systems for proper repair of equipment, operation and reporting. Must be able to understand operation of all the equipment on the automation systems to notify onsite or on-call staff, make repairs or adjustments. Operate and monitor building automation hospital systems and respond to alarms and emergencies with appropriate actions. Performs repairs and PM tasks as assigned by the supervisor or Facilities Operations' director on call. Reviews controls and programs for functionality and suitability based on engineering sequences and operating requirements. Implements program changes and verifies proper operation. Evaluates programming methods and implements changes to reduce energy consumption. Troubleshoots multi-vendor networked and modern BAS system, connections, and communications. Troubleshoots computer workstations, displays, modems, UPSs, servers, equipment racks, KVMs and coordinates with multiple vendors and departments for updates, repairs, replacements and warranty service. Retrieves historical data from BAS systems to generate reports, charts, and spreadsheets for analysis and review with support project staff. Communicates and works with all departments, customers and vendors acting as a liaison for the Organization. Receives, prioritizes and documents service requests. Dispatches appropriate staff and/or escalates to a higher authority, completes data entry, monitors security systems, distributes keys and pagers. Staff is required to be in compliance with Federal Nuclear Regulatory Commission. A security clearance and a criminal record check are completed according to Federal Guidelines.
