About The Position

The Blending Operator is responsible for performing daily blending and mixing operations in a manufacturing environment. This role ensures raw materials are measured, blended, and processed accurately according to formulas, production schedules, and quality standards. The Blending Operator helps maintain a clean, safe, and organized blending area while supporting overall production goals.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Ability to follow formulas, batch sheets, and written instructions
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Willingness to work overtime, weekends, or flexible schedules as needed
• Ability to stand for extended periods during the shift
• Frequent walking, bending, squatting, and reaching
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly
• Ability to push or pull up to 50 pounds frequently
• Work performed around manufacturing equipment and moving machinery.

Nice To Haves

• Previous manufacturing, blending, or production experience preferred
• Basic understanding of GMPs and quality standards is a plus
• Forklift experience is a plus

Responsibilities

• Operate blending and mixing equipment according to production schedules and instructions
• Accurately measure, weigh, and mix raw materials following formulas and batch instructions
• Stage materials and prepare ingredients for blending operations
• Monitor blending equipment during operation to ensure proper performance
• Record batch information and production data accurately
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the blending area
• Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), quality standards, and company safety procedures
• Assist with basic sanitation and cleaning of blending equipment and work areas
• Report equipment issues or material shortages to supervisors
• Assist with minor equipment adjustments or maintenance when needed
• Communicate with team members and supervisors to ensure production schedules are met
• Perform other duties as assigned to support production operations
