About The Position
This position is responsible for assisting broiler farms with vaccinations, pulling blood and fat for testing while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures. This position is responsible for the handling, pulling of blood and fat samples, weighing, and vaccinating of broilers (chickens) in the field. Responsible for ordering, issuing and tracking inventoried supplies while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures. This position is responsible for completing paperwork in a timely manner and shipping items. Position requires the willingness/ability to stand for extended periods; walk, bend, stretch, turn, push, pull, reach, and lift up to 50 lbs. without assistance. Team member must be willing to work in an outside environment that will fluctuate according to the conditions outside at the time; cold, warm, dusty, and/or damp environment with a high concentration of allergens present in a poultry house. Must possess a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record. Candidate must not own, possess, or otherwise maintain any domestic, wild, or exotic fowl to be considered. “The successful candidate(s) must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.”
Requirements

- 3 months work experience in Industrial / Manufacturing / Construction / Landscaping / Ranching / Farming Environment.
- Non-DOT Driver experience Preferred.
- High School Diploma or Equivalent.
- Willingness/ability to stand for extended periods
- Walk, bend, stretch, turn, push, pull, reach, and lift up to 50 lbs. without assistance
- Team member must be willing to work in an outside environment that will fluctuate according to the conditions outside at the time; cold, warm, dusty, and/or damp environment with a high concentration of allergens present in a poultry house.
- Must pass a background check.
- Abide by company biosecurity guidelines including an agreement to avoid owning and being around any avian species.
