About The Position

BMW of Myrtle Beach Position Overview: We are seeking an outgoing and customer-oriented individual to join our team as a BMW Service Porter. In this exciting role, you will be responsible for greeting all incoming service customer's. You will begin their service appointment process with a video walkaround and identify damages or opportunities for the service department. By providing expert guidance, technical support, and education to BMW service clients regarding the features, functionality, and technology within their vehicles. Your passion for BMW vehicles, strong communication skills, and ability to simplify complex technical information will enhance the overall ownership experience for our customers. Requirements

Clean driving record with valid drivers license.
High school diploma or equivalent; technical or automotive-related education is a plus.
Passion for BMW vehicles and a strong interest in automotive technology and innovation.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information in a clear and understandable manner.
Customer-focused mindset, with a genuine desire to provide outstanding service and support.
Proficiency in using digital tools and platforms, including mobile apps and online resources.
Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude when working with customers.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to evolving technology.

Responsibilities

Customer Engagement: Welcome customers and create a positive first impression by showcasing enthusiasm and expertise.
Engage with customers to understand their needs, preferences, and possible technical questions related to their BMW vehicles.
Conduct a condition pre-service walkaround video of the customer's vehicle using our app.
Identify any vehicle damages or potential service needs by simply pointing it out in the video.
Hand off the customer to the BMW Service Advisor and ensure consistent flow in the BMW service lane.
Properly park and move clients vehicles to the next stage of the process.
Assist with maintaining the BMW Service Loaner fleet Pre stage BMW Service Loaners as well as customer pick up.
Upkeep the Service Drive area
Utilize exceptional interpersonal skills to build lasting relationships with customers and enhance their satisfaction with the brand.
Feedback and Collaboration: Collect feedback from customers and relay insights to the dealership, helping improve customer experiences.
Collaborate with the sales and service teams to identify opportunities for customer engagement and satisfaction improvement.
