About The Position
Nursing Assistant Training Miller's is proud to provide training for those interested in a career as a Certified Nursing Assistant free of charge. Each student is required to complete class room training and clinical training. Upon completion, students must pass the state exam to become a Certified Nurse's Aide. See below for more details on training.
Requirements
- Pass all classroom tests with 80% or higher (3 attempts allowed)
- Complete 75 hours of supervised practicum in a long-term care facility
- Perform all required skills successfully during the practicum
- Attend the first 16 hours of practicum with the class instructor
- Pass a criminal background check
- Pass a TB test
- Pass a physical
- Attend all classroom sessions
- Complete and submit the clinical sign-in record daily with required information and signatures
- Complete and submit the skills checklists booklet (RCP’s) with all required skills completed
Responsibilities
- Complete classroom training
- Complete clinical training

- Pass all classroom tests with 80% or higher (3 attempts allowed)
- Complete 75 hours of supervised practicum in a long-term care facility
- Perform all required skills successfully during the practicum
- Attend the first 16 hours of practicum with the class instructor
- Complete and submit the clinical sign-in record daily with required information and signatures
- Complete and submit the skills checklists booklet (RCP’s) with all required skills completed
