About The Position

The Program Coordinator supervises client cases to ensure the effective implementation of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services. This role provides clinical and operational support to staff delivering one-on-one services to clients/students across home, school, clinic, and community settings. This is a managerial-level position with direct reports .

Requirements

  • Master’s Degree or PhD in: Psychology, Special Education, Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Or related field
  • Knowledge of Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) required
  • Current Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification required
  • Valid driver’s license and active automobile insurance
  • Ability to travel within the community throughout the workday
  • State Child Abuse and Criminal History Clearances (no record)

Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and oversee individualized treatment programs, including behavior reduction and skill acquisition plans
  • Supervise, train, and mentor staff (including RBTs) in program implementation
  • Design effective reinforcement systems
  • Meet or exceed billable hour expectations based on assigned region, caseload size, and clinical team needs
  • Conduct clinical assessments, including Functional Behavior Assessments (FBA) and functional analyses
  • Design, manage, and interpret data collection systems
  • Prepare and maintain client progress reports
  • Ensure client safety and maintain confidentiality at all times
  • Observe clients and staff across home, school, and community environments
  • Provide daily onsite supervision of staff and client programs
  • Conduct in-service trainings and seminars
  • Train families on implementation of behavior intervention plans
  • Provide supervision to Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs)
  • Maintain BCBA certification and applicable state licensure requirements
  • Availability to work at least two evenings per week and serve as PC on duty as needed
  • Participate in professional development activities
  • Support staff in delivering high-quality clinical services
  • Act as a member of the management team
  • Conduct new client intakes
  • Collaborate with families and external providers (e.g., schools, physicians, wraparound services)
  • Communicate with insurance providers regarding progress and service authorization
  • Promote a culture of collaboration, accountability, and open communication
  • Build and maintain productive professional relationships
  • Facilitate communication across departments
  • Ensure adherence to professional and organizational standards
  • Support performance management for direct reports
  • Perform additional duties as assigned
  • Providing hands-on assistance with activities of daily living (e.g., feeding, toileting)
  • Exposure to bodily fluids (PPE provided)
  • Implementing safe crisis management techniques for clients displaying aggressive behaviors
  • Lifting up to 15–50 lbs
  • Standing, kneeling, bending, and sitting for extended periods
  • Supporting client body weight when necessary
  • Work a flexible schedule, including evenings and occasional weekends
  • Travel locally throughout the workday with reliable transportation
