Body/Fender & Paint Specialist

About the position

Ready to rev up your career? U-Haul is looking for an individual to perform minor body sheet-metal repairs, fiberglass repair, and repainting of body parts and interiors of U-Haul trucks and trailers. This position will involve the use of primers, enamels, wood finishing and fiberglass finishing materials. The individual will prepare surfaces by sanding, painting with primers and enamels, and applying finishing materials to ensure a high-quality finish.

Responsibilities

• Perform minor body sheet-metal repairs on U-Haul trucks and trailers.
• Conduct fiberglass repairs as needed.
• Repaint body parts and interiors of vehicles.
• Prepare surfaces for painting by sanding and cleaning.
• Apply primers, enamels, and finishing materials to achieve a quality finish.

Requirements

• Experience in body and fender repair.
• Knowledge of painting techniques and materials.
• Ability to work with fiberglass and sheet metal.
• Attention to detail and quality workmanship.

Nice-to-haves

• Previous experience in automotive repair or painting.
• Certification in automotive body repair.
