Sterling Collision Center is looking for motivated Body Shop Apprentices who are eager to learn, take pride in their work, and want to grow within a successful, family-owned and operated business serving the Acadiana area!

Requirements

• Previous automotive or body shop experience is a plus, but not required
• Strong work ethic with a willingness to learn and take direction
• Good communication skills and ability to work both independently and on a team
• Willingness to submit to a pre-employment background check and drug screening
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Must be at least 21 years old, or have a minimum of 3 years of driving history
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred

• Previous automotive or body shop experience

Responsibilities

• Assist Body Shop Technicians with structural and non-structural vehicle repairs
• Learn to restore vehicles to pre-accident condition following industry standards and factory specifications
• Support repair and replacement tasks under the guidance of experienced technicians
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
• Properly handle and maintain tools and equipment
• Communicate repair progress with team members and leadership
• Participate in on-the-job training and complete required certifications
• Follow all dealership and industry safety policies and procedures
